Erik is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART), and Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC), where two of his specialties include anger management support and addiction recovery.  In addition to Erik's education and training in the field of psychology, Erik has 15 years of unique life experience as a ninja gym instructor and coach, where he has utilized psychological approaches to help children, teens and adults overcome emotional dysregulation, mental blocks, and negative core beliefs.

Erik is equipped to work with various populations and especially enjoys his work with court-mandated cases, working with those who have therapeutic anger management goals to fulfill.  Erik believes in giving tools and strategies to help overcome struggles with anger, standing on the premise that if a client is having troubles with anger, tools are needed, not just a diagnosis and label.

Additionally, Erik is passionate about equipping men in the unique challenges that hold them back. Erik enjoys supporting men from a relational lens in order to help them become the best husband, father, leader and/or friend to the important people in their lives.

As a Biblically-based counselor, Erik utilizes his training as an ordained minister to encourage, challenge, and equip his clients.  Erik uses Biblical truth to help clients navigate through the difficulties of life, working hard to understand a person's story in order to achieve freedom from whatever is holding them back.  Overall, Erik truly believes that God can restore, free and heal every single person, giving him hope for each client in his care.​​
