Olivia is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan with communication and swallowing needs. She was initially drawn to the field by a strong academic interest in how speech, language, and swallowing develop and function. However, her passion for the field grew through hands-on clinical experience, supporting individuals through hardship while guiding them toward growth, confidence, and hope.

She has broad clinical experience with both pediatric and adult populations. Olivia has provided therapy in both elementary school and outpatient clinic settings for preschool- and school-aged children with speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, social communication challenges, literacy, and spelling difficulties.

Her adult experience includes working with medically complex patients in Level I and II trauma hospitals. She has evaluated and treated communication and swallowing disorders following stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and laryngectomy. Olivia has advanced training in instrumental swallowing evaluations, including Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). She has also worked extensively with patients following extubation, tracheostomy, and progressive neurological conditions in long-term acute care (LTAC) settings, including treatment with VitalStim, Passy-Muir Valves (PMV), and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Olivia develops evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals and needs. She combines research-supported approaches with multidisciplinary collaboration and caregiver involvement to maximize outcomes. She has applied this approach across inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient care, and telehealth to address speech and voice disorders, acquired language disorders, cognitive impairments, and swallowing difficulties.

Above all, Olivia's Christian faith is the cornerstone of her practice, guiding compassionate, holistic care. With a strong desire to help, Olivia welcomes clients of all beliefs and works collaboratively with individuals and families to achieve meaningful progress in communication and overall quality of life.
