Mission

The mission of Genesis Family is to provide high quality, professional care through a variety of services with one key objective: to restore the family unit and bring back God’s design for a strong family. We accomplish this by onboarding high quality professionals in their respective fields and ensuring that our values are aligned.

Again, Genesis Family’s main focus is restoring the family unit. We currently utilize therapy and coaching to achieve this goal. Simultaneously, through research and engagement with society, we will continue to adapt to the needs of individuals and families.

Vision

We recognize and see a world that is clearly attacking the family unit and trying to destroy God’s original design. The result of this decades-long attack has numerous consequences: divorce rates are high, marriage rates are low, broken families are increasingly the norm rather than the exception, and large amounts of individuals are struggling with their own identity.

At Genesis Family, we believe that through the right kind of help, and continuously adapting to the needs of our clients, we are able to turn the tide to a healthy society. In order to best serve each individual and family, we place a high value on our independent research, allowing us to identify changing trends and improve the quality of our care.

Genesis Family is built on a foundation of truth. How can you expect to find healing and complete freedom if obtaining the truth is not the solution? This is why we take a firm, biblically-based approach to prove unwavering against society’s latest trend. We envision an ever growing, ever adapting organization that will put the needs of a healthy family first.

Statement of Faith

We are a Christian, Biblically-based mental health organization with the sole mission of making God’s name great, bringing freedom to individuals, and “restoring the family unit to God’s design.”

Our Core Beliefs

• We believe in one God who has revealed Himself in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Romans 1:20, Matthew 28:19). The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all co-eternal, all stand equally superior to time, free from the temporal distinctions of past and future (John 15:26, Ephesians 1:17, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Colossians 2:9, Isaiah 44:6, John 10:30, Deuteronomy 6:4, Genesis 1:2, 1 Peter 1:2, Matthew 3:16-17).
• The Bible, comprised of the Old and New Testaments, was written by men, inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is completely true and trustworthy as the final authority for faith and practice. • We believe the Holy Spirit is God personally with us today. He was sent by Jesus to pour the love of God into our hearts, teach and remind us of all things, convict us of sin, righteousness, and judgment and glorify Christ. He dwells in the heart of every believer upon salvation and seals him until the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit speaks to us through the Bible, intuitive thoughts, other people and circumstances. We believe in His present ministry, His indwelling, His empowering, His impartation of gifts for today, and His transforming power in the lives of all believers (I Corinthians 12:4-11, Gal 5:22-23).

Our Beliefs Related to the Services we Provide

• We believe that marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman for life. Both the husband and wife are equal in their value and dignity. Both are created in the very image of God and are called to also submit to one another as they carry out different, yet equally important, roles in reflection of God’s image. Marriage is meant to function as a picture of Christ’s relationship to His Church where the husband lovingly leads and serves his wife with compassion, understanding, and self-sacrifice. Likewise, a wife is called to submit graciously to the servant leadership of her own husband as the church submits willingly to Christ.
• We believe that from the moment of conception, children are a gift from God and are a treasure to be cherished. It is a parent’s primary obligation to care for their children by demonstrating the gospel of Jesus Christ through actions, and words. • We believe that the human mind, in both strengths and weaknesses, should be studied. We believe in psychological science and therapeutic discoveries, but test everything on Biblical accuracy. Believing that the Bible is the source of all truth, we do not believe that science can contradict the Bible in any way, shape, or form. Due to this conviction, we implement a variety of evidence-based modalities that have been proven effective in helping individuals and families in their healing process. We are diligent to ensure that all modalities and interventions used are in alignment with the Word of God and do not promote any thought, idea or concept that would be considered sinful.
